I met Jim when
I bought the bar.
He lives alone and doesn’t drive.
He walks 6-miles round trip to the bar and back home. He’s been doing it for 62 years.
After I got to know him better - I promised him he would never walk home from the bar again as long as I owned it.
I ended up starting a campaign to buy rides home - but accidentally turned him into a local celebrity.
